Kathleen grew up in Southampton, and has been involved in the performing arts since the age of three when she appeared in her first local dance show.

As a teenager, Kathleen gained a place on the prestigious Hampshire Specialist Music Course at Peter Symonds College, and was a member of the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain, performing in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and Birmingham Town Hall. As a member of the Hampshire Youth Choir, she performed as a soloist in Purcell's 'King Arthur' with the BBC Singers in The Great Hall, Winchester.

Kathleen went on to study her undergraduate degree in Classical Voice at the Royal Academy of Music, London, under the tutelage of Yvonne Howard, Alex Ashworth and Philip Sunderland. During her time at RAM she appeared twice with the Royal Academy Opera Chorus, and also performed the roles of Hansel (Hansel und Gretel, Humperdinck) and the Sorceress (Dido and Aeneas, Purcell) with Kings College London Opera Society.

During the 2020 lockdown, Kathleen realised that whist she loved performing opera, her true passion was musical theatre and so embarked on a Masters degree at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Musical Theatre Performance. This course culminated in performing the role of Morgan in Godspell at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August 2022, for which she was also the Dance Captain.

Kathleen currently teaches musical theatre at Stage Academy London, modern and tap at North London Stars and regularly covers all three performing arts disciplines at Stagecoaches across London.
